Dr. Spring is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Clinical Laboratory Scientist with over 20 years of experience bridging medical science and holistic healing. She specializes in autoimmune and chronic illness, chronic viral infections, environmental medicine, and IV nutrient therapy, combining advanced diagnostics with natural therapies that restore balance and vitality.
As co-founder of the SHI Center in Olympia, Washington, Dr. Spring provides individualized, integrative care for patients with complex or environmentally linked conditions. Her training in rheumatology, nutrition, botanical medicine, and Chinese medical theory informs her whole-person approach to healing.
Dr. Spring is a proud member of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, North American Academy of Neural Therapy, and the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness. My Story
Dr. Spring is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Clinical Laboratory Scientist with more than two decades of combined experience in both conventional and natural medicine. Her approach integrates evidence-based science, compassionate listening, and whole-person care to help patients achieve lasting wellness. Her clinical focus includes autoimmune and chronic illness, chronic viral infections, environmental medicine, IV nutrient therapy, chronic pain management, and grief recovery. Trained in neural injection therapy and acupuncture, Dr. Spring helps patients restore balance through safe, effective, and restorative treatments that honor the connection between body and mind. As co-founder of the SHI Center in Olympia, Washington, Dr. Spring provides integrative care for complex health conditions — including toxin-related illness, immune dysregulation, chronic viral syndromes, and environmentally linked disorders. Her naturopathic and acupuncture education included advanced training in rheumatology, environmental medicine, botanical medicine, nutrition, and Chinese medical theory. This multidisciplinary foundation allows her to bridge modern diagnostics with holistic strategies that address the true root causes of illness. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Spring spent nearly 20 years as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, leading and supervising hospital laboratories across the U.S. This strong diagnostic background deepens her ability to interpret lab results and design individualized, data-informed care plans. Dr. Spring earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, and holds both a Bachelor and Associate Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from WeberState University in Utah. She is an active member of several professional organizations dedicated to advancing integrative health, including the Institute for Functional Medicine in Environmental Medicine(AAEM), the North American Academy of Neural Therapy (NAANT), and the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI).Patients often describe Dr. Spring as deeply knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate.
